APM Market in Korea 2017’s

The APM market grew 4.8% in 2017. Jennifersoft leads the market with the highest market share. The WAS APM market grew by 4.8% last year.

Jennifersoft leads the market with a 68% market share. The company has led the APM market since we started the APM market research in 2009. Jennifersoft develops and provides software that allows users to analyze what caused a performance problem in a timely manner, which is the fundamental role of WAS APM.

DailyGrid conducted a survey of 15 APM vendors, various firms, and public organizations through visits, phone calls, and questionnaires from February 1 to March 10, 2018. According to the research, the total new license sales on WAS monitoring software in 2017 were recorded at 20.6 billion won(19,113,622 USD) in terms of the end user.

The record grew by 4.8% compared to 19.08 billion won(17,625,954 USD) in 2016. The public sector leads the growth as its sales grow. The market appeared to be slowing down as the sales decreased by 6.1% in 2016 compared to 2015.

The EUM market, including BTM market, continues to grow in addition to last year’s growth. The EUM market grew by 10% in 2017 with sales of 9.57 billion won(9,091,281 USD).

Companies such as Dynatrace, Dabomsoft, Exem, and Penta System continue to grow by securing their customer base.

In addition, in 2017, the entire APM market, including WAS monitoring and EUM revenue, was recorded at 29.63 billion won(27,484,672 USD), which increased by 9% compared to 2016.
